Description

Tin snips are hand-held cutting tools, also known as shears.

Designed to cut sheet metal:

• Aluminium – 1.6mm
• Cold rolled sheet metal – 1.2mm
• Galvanised sheet metal – 1.2mm
• Stainless steel – 0.7mm

There are various snips available, depending on the cutting style:

• Yellow handle – Straight cuts and wide curves
• Red handle – Straight cuts and tight curves to the left
• Green handle – Straight cuts and tight curves to the right
